Last couple of months

Oooo it’s been a while I didn’t write any entries in my blog. I had the plan to do so but always the laziness and time constraint prevent me from doing this. Plus, I prefer to sum up what I did, where did I go and what happened for the last couple of months in an entry instead of story telling you guys in details in each entry. That’s much much better for me..

Well..on July 9 to 10, I went to Montreal with my four friends to attend the Vans Warped Tour. It’s more like a concert which has many stages for many bands to perform in a time. Most of the bands origin from around Canada and the United States with diversity of genres and some of them might be underground bands which less-known but the interesting part is when these “underground” bands perform on the stages, people love to hear and sing along with the vocalists pretending like they know these bands which what I did. I don’t care about who they are because what I was looking for was the beauty of music and some new songs that I wanna enjoy. Bands like SUM 41 and the all American rejects really captured my eyes and perhaps most of the crowds.

Early in the morning of July 11, we went back to Ottawa because of the World Cup Finals which won by the Spanish team. te amo EspaƱa

And this is what happened right after I finished my last exam paper for my second year in Carleton University. All these things were planned by one of my seniors in Ottawa which turned to be my vacation I guess. When I was preparing for my final together with Faris, Dzul and Kham at Loeb Building, Kham suddenly came up with this idea which was a trip to Halifax from April 21-25 and he sent a message to several of my friends to propose the idea and there we were!!Everyone agreed and we moved our asses all the way to Halifax started 10 pm on April 21 with two cars, Mitsubishi Lancer and a Toyota dot dot dot.. I forgot what type of Toyota we used. Kham and I were the first drivers and three of the trip members, Dzul, Pawa and Qushairi helped when the first drivers exhausted I would say. Approximately 2500kilometers covered. It’s like the distance between my hometown and Kuala Lumpur.Hhahaha

Among four places we stepped on, the Prince Edward Island is the most beautiful one followed by Quebec City..The island is linked with the mainland of Canada with the Confederation Bridge and you can see the beauty of the island starts from there. What a fascinating views and I wish I can go there one more time before my visa expired. But next time, I prefer flight instead of driving. Quebec City is like a European city for me. The building design, the people and the views make it looks like typical European city. Most of the Quebec’s people speak French and it is hard for us to find people who speak English as their first language. From the cashiers, tourist guides, billboards, instructions and etc, all are in French. Felt like in France though.
